Hey guys.

I'm after a pre-built system that will be able to play games like Company of Heroes 2, Rome Total War 2 at very high settings at 1920x1080 res. I don't play very many PC games really apart from strategy games such as the above. I won't be using it for much apart from gaming as I have a MacBook Air for everything else. Unsure on budget really, how much will be required to get the job done, and done well? I have had Rome 2 sat on my desk since release day, it is still sealed and I've been waiting to get a PC that will do it justice.

Cheers :)

Hmmmm.. is a £1000 the minimum required to do the job well then? Was hoping to spend a bit less considering it will only be used for the odd game.

That's what you're looking at, yes. You could save a bit by getting a 270X instead of the 280X, but you'd obviously have a bit more trouble getting those very high settings.

Building it yourself would be cheaper...

Console is the solution

Not for the games I want to play. Already have consoles :)

Okay thank you. Are there any major new graphics card/processors coming out in the next few months that may be worth waiting for?
