Once you have updated your bios is there a quicker way off put all of your previous settings in then taking pictures before you update your Bios?

Not really as far as I am aware
Bios updates make previous bios profiles
Unusable
Even if you saved the profiles to external media
The new bios won't let you load them
Due to things being different in the new bios

Some board manurfactures have the option to save your BIOS settings to USB stick.
Then reload them after the update.
But depending on how big of a jump in BIOS revisions, may or may not work.

Have tried it many times
Won't accept the profiles saved from
Previous bios version

It makes sense
As the newer bios for example may lower
A certain voltage that has turned out
To be too high and killing cpus
So letting you load a Previous saved profile
With that higher voltage would be
A very bad idea

It might be possible to trick it
Though never actually tried to do it
The bios must have a way of knowing it's
An older profile
How hard or how simple it would be to do something
That fools it into thinking it's a current profile
I really don't know

Every BIOS update I have done on my ASUS X670e Plus board, I save before hand to USB update then restore.
There was only the once when there was a big jump in revisions where that the saved file wasnt accepted.

No tricking involved it just either accepted the restore file and worked fine, or simply refused to load the file.
There probably is some kind of check that happens and if it realises that the older save file will cause issues refuses to load it.
