After BSOD Windows7 forgets passwords. Why?

Ive had to become a beta tester for Windows7 as the TV capabilities of Vista are severely crippled (with 'Windows Media Center') as if by intent?
There are dozens of bugs that have been present throughout all the betas, but the most annoying is after a crash or blue screen, most the IE login/passwords are forgotten, eg. Facebook, iGoogle. Actually its random which logins are lost but its usually most.
Ive tried changing different security settings to no avail & can only presume this is normal?
Id like to report the many bugs I find everyday but dont know how.
At the moment im trying 64bit 7600 rtm but this is the worst version ever as I get a dozen BSODS (sometimes with memory dump) every day for many different reasons.
Ive tried everything to find the cause of the BSODs but have not found the conflict yet. Inc. clocking at default etc.
All previous versions of Windows7 crashed to a lesser degree but Vista was very stable.

Until I find the reason it keeps crashing is there a way to stop Windows forgetting all my logins/passwords after a crash?

Thanks

Actually, most the BSODS's have network related causes eg. sometimes its 'ndis.sys'.
Most the crashes occur when running 'Windows Media Center'. Also WMC accesses the network very often in the background, presumibly checking on shared media over LAN.
Most shared media is stored on an ACPI XP32 based rig.

I think thats your NIC drivers try updateing them.
look at the 'ndis.sys' file and see when it was changed last.

I recently updated the network drivers to the latest Realtek.
My ndis.sys file was last modified 11/07/09 but I updated my network card driver in August.
Other BSOD cause: rt64win7.sys

thanks

I managed install SUPERAntiSpyware.Professional.v4.22.1014

but after uninstalling it I still get blue screen

I dont trust the built-in Defender as it misses trojens that SUPERAntiSpyware finds.

I think maybe it would be faster to re-install,but this time don't update your drivers.
And see what happens.

OK, first bsod today which was when running media browser, the error message was 'cannot reference pointer'.
After a reset the mouse speed had been reset & on-the-fly sensetivity does not work anymore with my diamondback.
Also the memory stick I was using as 'ready boost' cant install & has vanished.

Get a bsod in 5 mins after any input from a usb device like mouse/usb infra-red.
Just had 2x bsods 'irq not less or equal than' errors.

Unplugged usb webcam + mem stick & latest bsod error is 'bad pool caller'.
90% of bsods happen in media browser

still get bsod with usb devices unplugged
latest bsod when running music browser: bsod error: 'memory management'

more bsods:
'irq not less or equal than'
'last call exception'

the only time it wont crash is when running intelburntest or occt for a few hours

latest bsod: 'bugcode usb device'
Ok ruled out all USB devices except mouse/keyboard/infra-red *********, but tried diamondback drivers from microsoft update & razors own

letest bsod
'system service exception'

happening every 5mins now unless run burntest

Some more clues:

Ghosted an older win7 7127 64, which never used to crash & after starting up rsther than a bsod every 20mins, it took 2 days before the first bsod, which happened in wmc when doing nothing: 'irq not less or equal than'.

I still dont know whether its hardware or software.
Memtest is fine.

Ive had a prob with a PCI port, as a year ago it burnt out but still worked.
I had to get a PCI-E soundcard because the x-fi recently stopped working in the dodgy PCI slot.
I just tested the sat card in this PCI port & it works after a lot of coaxing.
I had to re-seat it a few times to be recognised, but still the bsod's persist.

As it took a couple of days before a bsod with a different OS, then im unsure if its hardware?

Ps. not updated any drivers/software except defender update & got bsod 2hrs after that!

Right so you are saying your Motherboard has a faulty PCI slot that "burnt out" and you are wondering why sometimes you get an IRQ error ? I dont know to what extent "burnt out" means its damaged but i think id consider a new motherboard.

You have deffinately ruled out RAM and that for me is 95% of the time the culprit when seeing errors like that. the other 5% its dodgy drivers.

I had plenty of BSODs and win 7 when i first tried using 8gb of ram in my old cruddy ip35

I never lost any data or had pw resets and i must have forced or had 50+ BSODS.

You have quite a tricky problem :O

Yeah a tricky problem lol, I been trying rule things out for 3 weeks now ever since in installed a xonar. Hey maybe thats it lol. Think I'll try win7 32bit next or remove the xonar or sat card.
Most bsods are service exception or irq.
May even try 2 sticks of RAM as this mobo has never liked 4 sticks + its that old nasty ocuk ddr2 stuff.

Just took the sat card out to check the PCI port & made quite disturbing find:

PCI-burnout1.jpg

A= 1 year ago Procoder TV card 'blew' on first installation
B= Additional dark burning residue
C= same dark burning residue as 'B'

Sat card works in both slots but x-fi wont work in conjunction with sat card.

Im worried the bottom slot may soon go 'bang'.

I could save up for a new i7 rig in 5 months but if keep getting constant bsod's then will have to loose sat card or xonar which may cure it?

FIXED IT :)

After LOTS of ruling out hardware/software ive discovered its ok to have the sat-card installed (once its recognised) & the problem all along was the xonar!!!

It appears when the xonar is set to digital all the time it causes a bsod (usually IRQ greater or less than) when eg theres been a while without sound so the speakers switch to standby & when moving the selector in WMC a 'beep' happens which turns on the speakers (after a speaker click) & thats when a bsod usually happens.

Ive done a work around by using xonar with analogue & the onboard for digital by optical cable.
I presume with digital it dont matter if its a crap soundcard as theres no audio processing prior to hitting the speakers?
Just got figure out how get AC3/DTS films use digital & everything else use analogue automatically now.
