I've decided I want to get an iPad Mini, it's my first one and it seems like the best one to get for the money I'm willing to spend. Here's my question, when's the right time to buy it? I was thinking about waiting until the after Christmas sales but have no clue on what the sales have been like on iPad's in previous years.

Anyone got any experience in buying an iPad in the after Christmas sales, thanks in advance.

There won't be any reductions to speak of anywhere on any current product, especially not iPads.

Best you can hope for really is having something thrown in with it like an iTunes card or a crap set of speakers/case or similar.

Apple don't discount unless the product has been replaced, then it goes to the refurb store. Neither will they let other retailers do so, otherwise they'll suddenly stop getting deliveries.

Best hope is something on Black Friday perhaps?

No iPad mini in the black Friday sale. In my experience there is no point waiting for a sale as it will never happen. Best try to find a mate in the forces/uni etc to get a tiny discount. Buy now and enjoy now! :)

My sisters in Uni, shouldn't be a problem. Thanks for the tip

It's true. There are rarely discounts on Apple stuff. The only hope for 'cheap' is to buy second hand. By then though, we all want the next big thing.

Some good deals on the refurb part of the apple store. Makes me tempted to get an air as they have a nearly new one for only £720 or so. :o
