After hours of learning how to overclock and then proceeding to do so, here are my results:

Please let me know what you think guys, overall its 4.2Ghz on 1.296v on air cooling. I have pretty much OC'd everything, my Ram which is now at 2Ghz, its timings and even my GPUs (580 SLI, but thats only tiny)

seems stable at the minute after 1 hour of testing will keep it up over night though, I am happy with my temps as well which took me forever to get right!!!

: ) Overall, happy camper, I feel very satisfied, I can see why people overclock now, not just for the performance increase!

{PS} Oh, theres also pictures of my set up on Flikr if your are interested guys. All purchased from this site :) And sorry for the tiny words in the pictures, you can read them.. just, squint lol

Knowing what the motherboard is might help.

Perhaps you need to unlink the DRAM Timing Mode and set everything up manually or try a different memory ratio.

This all presuposes your RAM will run at 2000MHz. If it's 1600MHz RAM then leave it as it is as it's already overclocked.

I can't enable XMP because if I do I lose my overclocked settings and my timings, must be some other way?

EDIT: OK just tried enable XMP just for what ifs, and it didn't work :(

Then try changing the Memory Ratio from 5 and see what that does.

I've no idea what the different numbers mean because it's not in the manual.
