After more storage! Help inside please!

Hi i have a mac book pro 17" with the 160gb hdd

now im after a external hdd something close to 300gbs anywhere up to 1TB

best to buy premade externals or buy internals and use a enclosure im really unsure i want to keep the mac as clean as possible. as its going to be used for music production, so work saved to mac and transferred to external.

Ideas please!

Just under £100, competitor though.

Same place also have a 320gb maxtor for about £60 and a caddy for about £10.

Just got a Freecom myself and have to save the case is a BRICK and ideal for radiating heat. MUCH better than the previous Icybox I have had and also very quiet and cool (uses Samsung drives and that helps). Looks nice and tidy too.
