Have an iPhone through work and going to bite the bullet and get some airpods for it.

Seen the AirPods 4 in 2 versions, either with noise cancellation or not.

How good is the cancellation? Is there any other benefits to an extra £50

I'd say absolutely worth it, get the pro's if you can, the buds help with the ANC hugely.

I'm very very impressed with my Pro 2's. Should be some nice deals to be had for black friday!

Good to know - my partner's gen 1's are struggling to stay connected (kown battery issue apparently), so will be looking to get her new ones.

Took me ages to convince myself to buy a pair, never looked back since! I always hated the idea of the eartips over the non-pro's but they're super comfortable actually!

I love mine - especially with the update that boosts voice audio when you need it. I would say that the pro model feels like a slightly better fit in the ear, and if you happen to have an Apple Watch, the case charges with the MagSafe charger! I love that!
