Afterburner 80% fan lock

I have Afterburner 3.0.0 Beta 19 and an EVGA GTX670.

The fan speed always tops out at 80% in custom fan curve and trying to set manual fan speed (you set 100 and it goes back to 80)

Is there a way to unlock it so it can use its full potential?

It was the same in previous versions of Afterburner
