As above. My MSI GTX 580 Twin Frozr II 1536mb wont ramp down after playing games. I've looked in the settings and see nothing different in there. I've googled the issue and cant find a reason why it's doing this. It's staying at 950core, 1900 shader and 2200 memory. This concerns me somewhat.

Any help/advice would be great.

Thanks.

Steve. ;)

Do you have 'Prefer maximum Performance' set in the NVCP, either under 'Global' or in any specific Profiles?

Hi Dirk....just checked and it's set to adaptive(globaly) Still no ramp down to idle.

How wierd....It's the new XL2410T monitor. I turned the monitor on to check e-mail this afternoon and started Afterburner straight away too. The graph was showing idle while the monitor was off, 5 secs after i turn on it ramps up....see above pic.

Would this be driver related on the monitor side of things or is there something i should be enabling/disabling. Only got the monitor on Monday.

Thanks for any help.

Steve.

LOL....That worked....but now i might aswell put my old monitor back on. It was one of the main reasons i got the XL 2410T for the 120Htz smoothness.

Rock and a hard place??? Dont understand why the G card ramps up when i set it to 120htz though.
