Afterburner only for AMD ?

I have posted this on Guru3d forum :

I wonder what happened to the AFB overclocking ability for Nvidia cards .
Since 780 days there has been no update for 780Ti , 290/x/ cards overclock just fine /.

Why is that ? MSI is producing Nvidia graphics as well , so why the heck ?
EVGA Precision has not been updated for some time as well.

And the "polite " reply of Mr.Neorasputin:

Stop playing the fool and asking the same question again and again. No need to do it if you simply don't accept the answer. Closed.

Except he did not give me any other answer

Afterburner and Precision both use the Rivatuner back end so if that doesn't get updated then there's not much they can do.

It's because the last official MSI afterburner is version 2.3.1 and it doesn't have OC options enabled for the later GTX 6xx/7xx series e.g target temp etc).

You just need to download the MSI afterburner 3.0.0 beta 18 - that supports all newer nVidia cards.

This confused me too in the beginning...
