Hi have fixed my afterburner problems but good idea to share tips.
tip 1 Disable USB3 Turbo as it takes x8 pcie lanes (I know thats only a small performance hit but for me stopped Afterburner saving profiles).
tip 2 Do not use MB utilites like ET6 to OC mobo as it again can cause problems with Afterburner.
I know other people will have no problems doing the above but this fixed problems for me.
Past couple of weeks have taught me to keep it old school and tweak in bios.
