What is the current state of Afterburner?

I know there was some question as to whether it would be supported any more, and it seems that there haven't been any updates of late.

Is it still supported? And what are the alternatives to it?

It still works although Rivatuner (the companion software used for in-game monitoring) doesn’t seem to want to show any CPU usage stats other than %-usage (i.e. no temperature info) for AMD’s 9000 series CPUs. There are workarounds but it’s a little annoying.

Otherwise, solid software for undervolting.

It depends on what graphics card you have. If it's AMD then you can use the AMD Adrenalin software. Or if it's Intel then you can use the Arc Control software. Or if it's Nvidia then you can use the new Nvidia app which isn't as good as Adrenalin but hopefully they'll catch up soon.

I'm still using it for AMD/nVIDIA. Guess we'll see if it gets an update for the new GPUs this year. Last I knew about the situation the single Russian dev had worked out some way to get paid for updates but again we'll see.

Probably not common knowledge but you can enable hardware DLLs from the monitor tab to expand the hardware devices. I'm using an open source one called LibreHardwareMonitor to read the pump speed & motherboard fan speeds. If you had AIDA64 installed you can add monitoring from it's DLL.

I also use Argos Monitor which is paid for but it's more for controlling all devices under a single interface. The interface is a bit clunky.
