So, I've managed to get myself a reference R9 290 for a reasonable price and now I need to change the cooler.
I was pretty set on the MK-26 until I realised that I'd not be able to add side fans to the case (Corsair Carbide 300R) due to its width. Then I was set on the Raijintek Morpheus until I discovered that the Arctic Accelero Xtreme VI can be had for £45.
So which of these two would be the better option? The Morpheus would require an extra fan (got a suitable one already), PWM-to-GPU fan adapter and a Y-splitter in addition to the heatsink itself. However, cooling performance may be better (more OC potential) and installation will probably be a bit easier. I also imagine that two 120mm fans will be quieter than three 92mm fans.
Anybody got any guidance please?
