I've been looking at after market exhaust systems for my cbf125, i'm going to be keeping the cbf after i do my big bike test as a commuter so i'm happy to spend a bit of money.

what is the negative and positive affects of a aftermarket exhaust's?
Will my insurance cost's go up?
Am i a plank for even thinking about it?
i will be riding on a cbt until i have enough experience so it could be the best part of 6 months until i do my test.
