Aftermarket GPU coolers?

yeah zalman VF900 is proberbly the best GPU you can get at the moment, i have the fatal1ty one and it hasn't ever put a foot wrong, brilliant cooling, they all look brilliant and other than the fatal1ty there all extremely quiet, so another vote for the zalman here

depends what card its going on. if your card will take one of the arctic cooling silencer range its better since it pumps the heat out of the case.

I've got a VF900 running here on my X800XT-PE. Before on the stock cooler the temps were hitting the mid-80s.. but now with this cooler it never goes above 50c  thats like 30c off.

As for the volume, i dont know what other people mean when they say its the loudest thing in their case.. i cant even hear mine  (I even had to check the fan was spinning when it first booted because it was so quiet)

Instalation is a doddle.. just take the stock cooler off.. and follow the guide.. even a monkey could do that :p (Just make sure you have the right sized screw driver for your stock cooler)

;)

edit: I also got quite a good overclock out of this cooler, from 520/560, its now at 570/600.. which i reckon is good for my card.. and the temps still dont go over 50c ;) Even in a 3dmark loop

Card is a x1900xt.......will not take a silencer & the accelero 2 has no exhaust

get the x2 then, the vf-900 will be overpowered by the heat and struggles even at full speed, and it isnt quiet after it goes above 5v

from many reviews the 900 is actually very very poor

Really? Could you point them out please? (Not being sarcastic, just suprised - I thought the 900 was supposed to be about the best aftermarket gpu cooler there is?!)

im trying to find where i read it, but apparently the stock cooler at 100% was better than the 900 at 100%, i will keep looking.

edit: it appears i cannot find it, so maybe i was incorrect. sorry.

Hey all, the temps in my case are getting quite high since i got another hd and an x1800xt.

Is there any cooler out similar to the one on the HIS cards? My current idle temp for the gpu is 63c :S
