Hi all, been a long time lurker of the forum, finally decided to join. previous attempts have failed due to the captcha, eyes aint what they used to be 
Not a huge gamer compared to a lot, was a big Duke3d,Doom,Quake and Unreal fan backin the day.
First real 3d rig a built was a k6 233 iirc
With a Matrox mystic 220 coupled with a canopus Pure3d 6mb 3df card. (upgraded for wing commander prophecy
)
Long time linux user since late 2000 only put windows back in to play bf3. Currently using a hd5870 which is starting to show its age abit. Damn shame as its been a good card, both in Linux and windows. BF4 is looking promising
Small confession , I did the preoder for a r9-290x with overclockers
