Hello everyone on OC
My names Dave and have been living in the land of Sangria and desperately poor broadband for about 8 years now running a couple of businesess. Have been into computers since I was 8 (am now nearing 40) but my computer addiction had to take a break for about 10 years or so due to kids, mortgage and a missus with a credit card
Now I have decided that the computer addiction needs to be kickstarted again and I have an oldish pc which plays things like MW2 on pretty good settings but am sorting out a new one (have a thread going in hardware about it). Still cant go too mad as am on a budget and the wife still has her credit card which my daughter wants to max out for new summer clothes, but what I will get should be sufficient for me to play the new games on the market.
I remembered this place from a while back now as found some interesting advice when I built my first pc and now I am trying to get back into it OC was my first port of call to find out what is what in the world of computers.
Anyway rambling over as its time to pop to the bar for a coffee in the sun - cheap booze and i dont drink
ps. been having a good look through the Desk and Room Gallery and there are some amazing rooms there, flatscreen tv's in bedrooms??? I remember getting my first little colour portable. Maybe one day when my office / computer room is tidy I will get round to adding a pic or two but at the moment it looks like a few bombs have gone off in there.
