AG8 3rd Eye dual core?

I have an abit AG8 3rd eye mobo, and am considering an upgrade of CPU to dual core. I currently have a Intel PresHott 3.0 ghz chip.

What benefits would i see if I went with a dual core cpu, and would my mobo be able to take it? LGA 775 ( i think).

abit AG8 doesn't support dual core CPU. The highest supported CPU is the Pentium 4 672 3.8Ghz, 800Mhz, 2mb L2 cache.
