Age and power... should I upgrade PSU?

I currently have THIS power supply, which I've had since November 2011, pretty much bang on 3 years now, so coming up to the warranty period ending. Nothing wrong with it, but I'm upgrading soon, although sticking with the i5 2500k that I've had for the same time period (don't see any good reason to upgrade that) on a 1-year old EVGA MATX Z68 SLI mbd, with 8GB RAM. I plan to get a new cooler (a 240 AIO), OC my CPU and add a GTX 970... I may go SLI in near future as well. I'll have two SSD's and a 3TB HD. So from an age and power perspective, I'm wondering if I should stick with this PSU or think about getting a new one?

I don't think there would be anything wrong with it but again, nothing wrong with upgrading. If you do, go for a superflower!

I've heard good things about them. Are they considered the best out there right now? Still, lots of variations to choose from within this brand! Should I stick at 650W, or go lower or higher, given what I intend to do?

The 970 takes a small amount of power, so you should be ok as snips said. I'd go for an upgrade if/when you go SLI instead

For a single card it's fine and 3 years old is nothing to worry about either. You will probably need a new one if you go Sli at some point as you only have 564w on the 12v rail.

I've had the same 500W Enermax Liberty PSU powering every system I've had since the socket 939 one I built in 2006 so I wouldn't worry too much

OK, well that's good to know... I don't want to spend the money if I don't need to.
