Heya. When I turn on Shader 3.0, and I'm inside a house/indoor area, some shaders have a blue overlay. Let me show you:

When I switch to 2.x or 2.0 shaders the blue hue instantly disappears. Any idea why this happens? The graphics card isnt overheating or anything; besides, the hue appears/disappears instantly when I toggle between 2.0/2.x and 3.0 shaders.

Cheers.

System specs:

AMD BE 7750 @ 200x14.5 = 2.9Ghz
Sapphire ATI HD 4870 512 @ Stock
2GB DDR2 1066 Ram
Windows 7 (32bit)

Playing the game at Medium @1680x1050, with some tweaked a bit lower - i prefer higher fps.

First thing i would do is install different drivers and make sure Direct X is upto date.

What cats are you using i think the best ones to use are the 10.4 or 10.5

The 10.6 cats have just been released but many faults are being reported.

Hmm it's simply the Dx that was installed along with windows 7. Surely even though my Dxdiag has DX11 installed, it can make use of Dx9 and 10.

Yea you can use anything and everything up to 10.1 with what's installed on Win 7, just not 11.

As for the colour issue i dont know, best to start by moving to newer drivers as suggested, see if it stabilises the shader...
