I have an Asus Blitz formula board at the moment, but i want to build an SLI system for age of conan is it still worth building an DDR2 system otherwise its a 790i board which are really expensive and im not even sure if the 790is are a lot better than the 780is except for ddr3 support

Thanks in advance

What resolution are u planning to play at ?

I run LOTRO at 1920X1200, 4AA, 16AF with one 8800 GTX, DX10 enabled and its fine. CD Duo 2.66, 8GBs ram, Vista 64 Ultimate in a 680i EVGA MB.

SLI is not worth it for the Frame rate increase u will get unless your resolution is higher than 1920X1200. And if your resolution is higher than that, then, the less AA you should in theory need.:)

I very much doubt that AOC will need SLI to be perfectly playable
