Dont bother if i'm honest. Its an amazing game but it will never pick up again, i always refused to play wow but after picking up the new AoC expansion i realised nothing will ever revieve this game and the king of mmo's was king for a reason.... Just ry wow the cata expansion is coming out soon which will give us casual gamers a chance!

The graphic were and are amazing to this day! It is such a shame That the coding was so awful along with the servers
MMO's lately seem so BUGGY! -_- fingers crossed starwars online wont be so bad when it comes out. Im guessing they are aiming at taking WoW off the number one spot so hopefully they will make an effort.It was made by Funcom - which made Anarchy Online. Both were awful on release - why they went for instanced I'll never know. Both are awful now imho.
I think it's best to forget about this - I certainly wouldn't give them another penny after this.

Dreadful game, probably alrightish if you didn't get caught up in the pre release hype, but when I look at the 'game' that was delivered next to what was promised... I could never give Funcom any of my money ever again, they lied through their teeth right up until launch day.
Never any mention of the disgustingly instanced world, no mention of the removal of the PvP system, completely misjudged the speed people would level at, never provided enough content, still dont. Just a truely, truely, truely aweful MMO. A disgrace to the genre.

OO never knew that, what were they lyeing about?.. nothing angers me more than a company LIEING about a game -_- SPESH if u can sell it on due to having to register the serial to an account.

DX10 support for starters. It wasn't until few months after the game launched that it was added.
As stated above, DX10 support was another, they miss sold the combat, it was nothing like the descriptions, they miss sold the world, it was nothing like described, class balance was and is terrible, they made an entire MMO with completely worthless items. There were just so many unforgivable things wrong with it that i'll never go anywhere near the company again.
yeah even now dx10 is awful -_- no improvment but you notice the diff in fps -_- it rapes mine by 20-30 fps for some random reason -_-.
They sold us a 'large open world', never even mentioned that it was instanced until it leaked from beta, they sold us a combat system that sounded like Oblivions, rather than what we have that is little more than the whack a mole turn based fare we are used to from the likes of WoW, yes they might cover it up but ultimately there is little difference.
You can't polish a turd though.

It made me laugh when you had to have an in-game account to read the forums and the forums were absolutely slating the game - yet there were a few die-hard (probably devs) 'fans' who said it was the best game since sliced bread.

I recently played again with the 10 day reactivate your account promotion they had and tbh its still as dire as ever, avoid and go play something like WOW or Warhammer or EVE or ........ anything really AOC is just plain lacking.
