Is there an update anywhere for this game, as you can not play it on 64.

Have you tried running in Windows XP SP2 compatability mode?

Right the shortcut/exe and then properties and then in the compatbility tab choose Windows XP SP2.

It runs fine in vista 64 bit over here. Installed it, patched it and it worked.
