Super pumped for this. Got so many great memories playing it from over a decade ago.

I pre-ordered by upgrading my steam version for £11.24 :D

Anyone else picking it up?

I'll probably get this at some point. Had a lot fun playing AoE3 with friends.

£15 seems reasonable, considering it's been worked on and updated. AoE3 complete edition is still £30 on Steam after all these years... :/

Oh my god I can not wait for this, yes this was the same for me. I spent countless hours in AoEIII. I agree it's the best one out of the lot.
:D

What rank was you? In no rush I think I made it to Major and in rush I think best I was is 1st Lieutenant. Though I would say I am more of a Master Sergeant at best in rush when playing single player.

Yea, I was surprised by the price, very good price. Was happy to see that people who owned the original got a 25% discount.

25% discount would be nice, but I don't have it on Steam, so doubt I qualify! :p

Often been tempted to just buy the complete collection on Steam, but as I own them on disc, £30 is too steep a price for such an old game and one I can still play.

Well now you can have it for £15 which is a bargain. As I recall I paid about that much for the original too on sale.

I can't decide if I should go straight into III or download all of them and play through the lot... Any opinions?

II is vastly differen to III. They both have their pros and cons. I prefer III.

III is my favourite by far so I would say go to that. It is not the type of game where you need to play the one's before.

You started playing yet? what's your username we can play some together if you like.
