Age of Empires online

Should I play this? I've watched some youtube videos and this game looks like complete poo.

I played AOE 1, 2 and 3 to death, and Mythology too.

Will this game ruin the series for me? I wish Ensemble still existsed, AOE4 would have been amazing

Isn't it massively expensive for anything but the base race? It was when I last looked at it.

Didn't like this at all, it was way to slow and expensive if you wanted to be any good in it!. I'll stick to stronghold kingdoms

Sorry to butt in, but I've recently started playing this and on my work connection, 15mb+, it downloads patch files etc. every time I go to play it. Not a problem on 15mb but at home, 2mb connection, it takes forever... Does it have to go through this process each time I want to play? That can't be that many patch files, surely

Ps, I'm playing via games for windows and not steam.
