i was wondering does anyone know of any more info on the new physx accelerator such as "is they any more improvement if you have 2" or " is it possible to overclock the PPU" etc any more info that cant be found on the Ageia FAQ

A better question at the moment is "is it really worth having 1 at the moment" rather than 2.

If you're thinking of buying one, hold off until we actually see games that support it being released.

I think the answer to those questions would be "no, and indeed at the moment there's no point in even having one until supported games come out", and "who knows, but for the time being lets not worry about it too much!".

They were on sale, but apparently OcUK were told to take them off sale until stuff appears that will use them, apparently theres one game coming in a couple of weeks, and theres supposedly hundreds in development, and they may be able patch older games so they can use them to. :)

Not sure if it would be possible to use 2x etc..., as there may not be a need.

Welome to the forums btw. :)

These threads are turning up a lot lately.

Never heard this before, can someone confirm? AFAIK they're only available through OEM at the moment.

There's already a game out (Bet on Soldier via a patch), more will be patched (City of Villains). You can find a list of a lot of them here.

I'm not sure whether you can use 2 or more, but I'd presume that if you could you'd get extra performance from it - whilst BFG's AGEIA card has 125mb of memory onboard, ASUS' has been anounced as having 256mb.
