Noticed a few online sites listing this as discontinued, although I cant find any notices online at all.

Is this retailers just stopping selling them, or is it that they are no longer being made?

Just decided to take the plunge, what with UT3 coming soon, but now not sure of future support.

Moving over to PCI-Ex1 and laptop addons. PCI are still sold just not by as many place's anymore. They are still being made by the looks of things.

If UT3 is the only PPU game you have it might not be worth it. PPU's only boost speed in UT3 and add one level/mod. There is nothing added to the normal game apart from the extra speed. No new effects.

EDIT: There are 3 brands of PPU sold in this shop. So you can still get one if you really want one.
 
I wouldn't bother with Phsyx for UT3, it seems even more pointless. If you have a good dual core CPU you'll be fine and dandy for it, the game is GPU limited if anything.

Most of the PPU games get added effects. Only 1 or 2 use it for speed only.
