Just did an upgrade to latest bios on my MSI X470 gaming plus max, went from older bios that had AGESA ComboAm4v2PI 1.2.0.7 to this 1.2.0.A version.
Biggest difference and issue im seeing is that cpu core voltage now goes up to 1.5v with EDC set to 141A. on older bios with EDC set to 141A vcore would be capped at 1.425v.
anyone else noticing this behavior with newer bios? iv reverted back to the last bios i was using and its gone back to capping max vcore to 1.425v with older bios. i know plenty people saying 1.5v is fine but im not happy with that much volts going into the cpu even on light loads.
and in classic MSI routine i could not restore saved profiles so had to enter everything in again. good thing i took photos of the bios screen beforehand.
