Agggrh, Help with COD2!

I've completed this before on Hard setting (currently doing veteran), but I can't remember this level being so hard!!!
I'm on D-Day "The Silo" where you have to snipe the enemy mortar teams. I keep getting about 1 minute into it before reinforcements arrive, but I'm getting wasted every time!! Anyone got any tips? Should I be taking these guys down in a specific order or something?

You need to watch the compass and make note of what order the targets appear in. Take them out in that order.

I got to the silo with one sniper rifle full of ammo and picked up a second at the silo, So I had a lot of bullets I would empty one gun swap to the other and then reload both.

Remember the order in which the baddies come (frequent deaths will help this)

try to time shots so that you can down both morter members with one bullet.

Listen out for directions of where the enemy is,

usually they take 2-3 shots to hit you

keep an eye on the compass.

Learn were each mortar team normally sets up and check there frequently.

Hey I didn't think if taking 2 sniper rifles. Not a bad idea that but I'm already checkpointed on top of the Silo. Hmm might start this level again TBH if I keep getting nailed!
Yeh I've managed to get a few of them where I took them both out with one shot. I seem to be getting a bit furthur each time but it's doing my head in!!
