Aghhh random lock ups!!

Ok pc spec is
Asus P5b mobo
1gb Hynix + 1gb Samsung ram.
Geforce G210
E7400
Win 7

I built this computer for my wife and it worked perfectly until I installed a Belkin KVM switch and a gigabyte keyboard then the lock ups started.
So far I have tried different ram form my computer, replaced keyboard with our old ps2 version, taken KVM switch out all with no luck. I know the mobo and psu should be ok as I used to use it in my rig which leaves graphics card but surely this is ok as its very cool and the graphics are fine.
The lockups seem random and have once occured at bios splash screen but nearly always when the computer has been running for a while.

I'm now thinking mobo :confused:

I have just completed a stress test on the ram and cpu which it passed but as soon as i moved the mouse and woke the screen up it was ok for 2 seconds then locked up

did you install any software when you installed the belkin or keyboard?

Windows installed the keyboard and also put a host of drivers in for the Belkin. I originally thought it was the Belkin switch but the other computer joined to it is fine, also it's the same problem when it's disconnected.

this is why i thought it might be software related.did it start as soon as you installed the belkin and keyboard.and how long ago did the problem start?

Yes it started more or less straight away and it started to happen about a week ago. The missus ain't happy with me lol.
There was no software just the drivers windows installed.

try a restore before you had the problem and without the keyboard and belkin installed

Ok another problem I installed the belkin and keyboard a lot longer ago than I thought the 10th July and the system restore only goes to 23 July. So I guess it was installed on the 10th July and the probs must have happend around a month after.
My memory is bad!!
Very strange I wonder if shes installed some rubbish spyware?? I have run spybot but it only found the usual tracker cookies.

just try a restore back to the earliest you can,see if that helps first

PC + wife = malware

Try a really good clean up in safe mode.

Ccleaner, malwarebytes and spybot S&D

Will try that, so far no more lock ups.
I got chance of a pk5 black pearl does anybody think it's the mobo?

I did system restore but no difference also ran a HDD error check which passed no problems, still getting lock ups.

Voltages look fine, did you try a good clean up?

i think i would take everything out and clean inside the case.put it all back together with 1 stick of ram and no optical drive.just hdd.noticed you have 2 different makes of ram???never a good idea i don't think

Aye two different types but same spec and I also tried 1 stick of my Ocz reapers but it still locks up. Defraged it too but no difference and windows was only installed a couple of months ago.
Got sick of it and SWMBO needs a reliable board cause she can't sort it when the **** hits the fan lol. I have bought the p5k black pearl, it's a lttle ott for her but hopefully reliable.

Update:
I changed the mobo and then reinstalled win 7, Still locked up. So I changed the only thing I haven't tried the G210 graphics card and it has been perfectly stable every since.
