Is there really a big difference when running in 4x mode insted of 8x, because i have a mobo which only supports 4x, and i have a 8x card wondering if it will affect it a lot thanks.

Voltages and potential bandwidth, but in real world terms there's very little difference. Virtually any motherboard that supports the AGP8x standard will support a 4x card, and virtually any 8x card will run on a 4x card, AFAIK.

I dont think it effects it much at all as i believe X4's bandwidth still isnt being fully used. From what i gather from other threads i've read here it's as little as 1%
