agp leadtech 7600GT + VF900-CU (will not fit)

HI all

Just got the above cooler but the screw holes wont align :rolleyes:

I know it doesn't say it supports it! but I thought some of you were using it, :confused:

so what else will fit it for definite?

oh dont be tellin me that.......was yours a leadtech agp one?

on mine the scew holes are about 2-3mm to short :confused:

mine was an inno3d one.
did you read the manual on how to fit the vf900cu? it tells you which holes to use if your mounting to a 7600 card.

There is no mention of the 7600 series in my manual...plus it was the widest set of holes that are 2-3mm too short

The list on the box/manual in the picture isn't the same as on the Zalman website. I think someone sold you an older version, that doesn't fit the 7600:-

But what's on the website doesn't match what is on the online manual either. Very strange.

Bad luck mate, the vf900 is a very capable cooler - bet your glad you didn't spend the extra to get the Fata1ity version...

just measured the cooler and the holes are a max of 75.5mm will take out me card and measure them too

Ok just took me card out and the holes are approx 80mm

So morale of the story...if you got a leadtech dont buy this cooler :rolleyes:

ahhh u didn;t say it was an agp card!

the bridge chip is in the way and won;t allow you to fit it. but i think a vf700cu may fit your card.

plus nothing gets in the way, its just the fitments aren't wide enough

stock cooler is ok(quiet enough), not as if u can overclock agp version much because of the bridge.

what do you mean by bridge? when it was wc it would run 605/800 happily

bridge is the chip used to convert pcie to agp.
