I came accross the AGP Aperature size in my bios 2day, never having fiddled with it I decided to see what setting is best. At first I made the mistake I think a few have made by thinking it was to do with selecting graphical memory total.

so I set it to 512mb lol and BSOD it most certainly did, anyho I kind of got an understanding to what it is now, so was wandering what setting to put it on.
It goes up in stages;

32MB
64MB
128MB
512MB
1GB
2GB

I have 2GB of Ballistix tracers and a x1900 512MB graphics

That motherboard doesn't even have an AGP slot does it?

If you are using an AGP setup then 64Mb is usually the best for performance and compatibility.

Well i did think about the "agp" part but then i aslo thought why have this in the options when the board was made with pci express? seems a little odd

i always set the AGP aperture to the amount of gfx memory that was being used

it seems it's for older computers when the gfx memory runs out it uses the system memory like page filling does with system memory
