AGP aperture settings

Hi all, hope somebody will be able to help. I'm trying to play an older game on my pc and can't get it to run. It installed without a hiccup but whenever I try to run it I get an error saying something like "AGP aperture setting ioncorrect, please restart and use the BIOS to set the aperture to at least 256MB". Initially I was like WTF:confused: I've got a PCI-e graphics card.

After a bit of digging I've discovered that it's nothing to do with AGP ports but is actually a setting that works on a BIOS level and acts kind of like a page file for your graphics card. I could find no such setting in my BIOS From what I can see this setting appears to have been phased out. So I know this is a long shot but I'm open to any ideas.

Thanks in advance for any help

EDIT:

My motherboard is an ASUS m4n78 Pro and my graphics card a 5770.

I think it used to be about 25 - 50% of system ram when you had anything from 32Mb to 256Mb of PC100. I have looked in your manual and it could be the frame buffer setting iGPU, but am not sure.

Oh yeah, forgot to mention I've got 4GB RAM, 3.25 showing up because I'm using 32-bit windows.

I missed that setting when I was looking before, thanks. At work atm but will try when I get home and let you know.
