Is there no conroe agp ddr1 board with more than 2 ddr slots?
And if not why not?
I have 2x 256 sticks and 1x 512 so 'id be 768 memory if getting the
Asrock 775I65G i865G
and 4300.
Do you i should get a 1gb stick of 3200 to go with the 512 stick?
Or forget the whole thing.

Conroes are designed for DDR2, the ASRock mish-mash boards provide a compromise for those not willing to spend the full whack on the upgrade though they're far from ideal. Personally I'd sell the DDR and invest in some DDR2 as the pricing is very reasonable at the moment, and get yourself a decent board to go with it.

yea the problem with that is u also have to get new graphics card power supply ram ata hard disk drives if you have ide dvd.

Well, yeah. But things have moved on, so be thankful there are even Core2 Duo boards with two DDR1 slots and AGP support! Also, a new CPU is all well and good, but what use is it if your graphics card wont fully utilise it? I'm assuming you'll be using it primarily for gaming mind you.

I'm not sure what you mean regarding the HDs and DVD drives.

well almost all new boards have 1 ide slot meaning either you run 2 hdd and buy an ata dvd rw or keep the dvd and get sata.
tried flea bay loads of times nobodys interested in ddr1 or agp cards.

The 650i has two IDE channels. Even so there are converter cables that can let you plug IDE into a SATA port. Though I know your problem well. Your current memory setup is just not efficient though. You'd be much better off getting the Asrock DUAL-VSTA, keeping all your components apart from your memory and CPU. Spend a little more and get some decent DDR2 2GB stuff. Then you can upgrade your graphics later on when some nice cheap DX10 cards come out. Same for your harddrives.
