Hi all, im helping a friend to upgrade his sytem a touch as its really dying here, especially now that he has broadband with AOHELL (only took 3 years of nagging to get him off dial up...)

current spec:
1000Mhz AMD Duron (currently 75oC !!! )
256mb pc133 ram (2X 128)
GF4MX 400 32mb AGP
Gigabyte 7IXE4 mobo http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/Products...?ProductID=1364

trying to upgrade him to:
1400Mhz Athlon (with new HSF)
512mb ram
same board

but with a 9200SE ... now can someone take a look at the board spec from the link ive given and tell me if i can run a 9200SE on it? also it says AGP2X. now i know the 9200SE isnt exactly a performance card but will it be hampered by the 2X AGP ? (provided it can run at all on the board ??? )

the boards been damn good actually, i bought it in 2000 and sold it to my friend in 2001 and its been great ever since, but things have changed a lot since then and im a little unsure...

oh indeed, i had one!! :) but i dont often see them around, and when i do they go for £30 ish :( how much would you say a GF3ti200 128mb is worth? (and is it any better than an mx400 ? )
