AGP GFX

Hi Guys

My sisters AGP card gave up the ghost last week.

She had this

Do I just need another AGP Card, or a specific type?

Any AGP card will work AFAIK, 8x will just run at 4x if need be.

I think the only difference is a slightly lower voltage..

3850 is the best you can get, but is a lot of ££.

7800gt or 7600gt might be a good idea.

Abit Radeon 9550

any AGP card would work, but you'll need to decide which card is best by looking at the budget, the system spec and what the card will be used for

Look for a used card that is similar. Radeon 9600\9700 etc, don't spend too much as these can be found for less than £10.

Was thinking of going down the used route. Just needed to find out if there was anything I needed to look out for.
