Is it possible to put an AGP card with two VGA outputs and a PCI card with one VGA output into one machine to drive three monitors?

Thanks

I believe the ASRock can have an AGP as a slave card for extra monitors, but i'm not sure how you could do it. Why not just use a PCI card and a PCI-e card?

Yes perfectly possible, I'd suggest getting both ATI or both Nvidia to minimise the chance of conflicts if possible but 3 monitors is fairly easy to do :)

//edit I'm assuming here that you are talking about an older machine which uses AGP graphics as the main source of output. Otherwise change the advice to PCI-E and PCI.

The triple head splits one resolution across three monitors - rather than three individual desktops ;)

currently using an X800pro AGP and a radeon 7000 PCI card in my shuttle. works a treat to power 2 tft's and a PJ all at once :)
