Firstly anyone have this card and know if it will fit into a Antec Sonata II Piano Black Quiet Case?

Secondly its out of stock on OcUK :( Have sent a webnote enquirying if they will get anymore in stock and if so when. I just got a reply saying

"when we have an ETA for an out of stock/pre-order product we will publish this on the website."

Does anyone wish to suggest if they will or not? I know the demand for AGP cards must be low now and stock, but after seeing the reviews of 2400/2600 I can't but help think that the 1950 pro is a much better AGP card. If I upgrade to this it will see me through for a bit and I can use my system as a media centre when I do a new build in say 6 months or so. I know other vendors still have it but would rather buy here. Thoughts? Thanks D.

The X1950 should fit fine into that case.
I wouldnt hold my breath for the Powercolor card to come back into stock though. Obviously no more X1950 cores are being made & only whats left is being sold. It is one of the best AGP cards made & if you want one to keep an AGP system going i would grab one while they can still be found. I would suggest you just buy the Sapphire ATI Radeon X1950 Pro 512MB, instead. It is in stock & its a bit cheaper too.

The reason I prefer the Powercolor is that the cooler is really quiet. Any users of the Sapphire alternative wish state how noisy the cooler is at full load? Also since the cooler on the sapphire does not vent the hot air outside the case any comments if this has caused issues? Happy to be corrected, Cheers.

I caved, have ordered the Powercolor gfx from elsewhere. After reading the reviews of the 2400xt and 2600xt I figured no way would they compete with the 1950 pro. I know in pipeline these are due on AGP in pro form but they do not have quiet coolers and more to the point are not even close on performance!!!

Since I am upgrading from my trusty Nvidia 6600gt I should notice a difference ;) I hope it will fit in the case ok, I have a front fan next to the HD cage, I hope I can squeeze it in! Thanks.
