Hi all,

Quick question for you all thats probably been asked a million times before ! !

I have a Geforce 6800 AGP card thats sat on my desk doing nothing, so I thought that I would move it into to my sisters PC that currently has an old Geforce 4400Ti in it.

As far as I know the 6800 is a 8x AGP card while the 4400Ti is a 4x AGP card. The motherboard that she has (MSI K7T Turbo) has a 4x AGP slot.

There would be no problems running the 6800 card in her motherboard ? ? The PSU in her system is a fairly new Antec 430w so power won't be a problem.

Cheers
Paul

Done some digging about on the Net and it seems that it should be OK.

The Asus website specs that make this card say it's AGP 8x/4x/2x compatible.
