Right here is my system

Win2k pro service pack 4
directx 9.0
P4 3000mhz processor
Asus P4S800 motherboard
sapphire radeon 9250 (256mb)
80 gig HD
512mb ram

My problem is this the graphic's card is being seen as its installed into the PCI rather than the AGP slot (ATI control center) and it runs the check and refuse to let the card run in AGP mode.
I have checked AGP is turned on and working in the BIO's And there seems to be no issue there
The only thing i can find is that the graphics card needs 0.8v in AGPX8 mode where as the motherboard gives 1.5V at that speed Could this be why it won't run in AGP mode and hence give me really crappy 3D performance?

Is there a way round this? or should i accept the Motherboard and graphics card are not compatable?
if so any suggestions to a suitable replacement? i need dvi output btw.
cheers

looked into this a bit more and also tried running the card at AGPx4 with no luck.
It would seem the card is not suiting my motherboard very well and will only run in PCI mode

So the big question is what to replace it with?
I need a dvi output and a card that works on 1.5v at 8XAGP
any suggestions?
cheers
