Agp upgrade from 6800gt

Thought it was about time i upgraded from agp tp pci-e.Just wondered if i would see much improvement in gaming if i went to a 7600gt from my Bfg 6800gt or would i not notice much.

The 7600gt comes in between the 6800 ultra and 7800 GT.

I doubt you would notice a massive boost TBH but spend an extra 50 and get a 7900 GT would see you massive gains.

Having said that the 7600 GT 's are fantastic clockers so I would say go for it.

Yeah, a 7600GT wouldn't offer much of a boost. I would suggest you spend only £35 more and grab the Sapphire ATi Radeon X1800XT 256MB while it's still a total bargain at £170.

I reckon the 7600GT is a pretty solid upgrade once you've got it clocked plus its nice and cool running, but I'd definately pay the extra for the X1800, that'd see some nice boosts. You can also pick up a 7900GT for £200 inc VAT and del, but thats really getting away from your price range.

THe X1800XT at the price is a fantastic card & whoops the 7600GT easily.
