agp upgrade..just about to, then...

After getting some advice i was just about to fork out for a x1950 AGP card (sapphire).
However ive noticed this morning some new breed of cards being released soon (HD 2400, 2600 series in AGP).
Is it worth me hanging about for this, anyone know when and roughly how much we can expect these to go for?

Current specs:
Athlon XP 2800+
1gb ram
9800 Pro 128mb

the x1950 pro is a great card for anyone staying on agp, but gecube released an agp x1950xt which is faster. although you might get a bit of a bottle neck with either card with your processor. but even still it would be an insanely massive boost over a 9800 . also judging by the 1950 pro being faster than the 8600 series i reckon it will be faster than the 2600s
