Im about to donate my old PC to my friends daughter for her to use as a homework computer and mild gaming rig (nothing hardcore) and was wondering if I could upgrade the GPU to anything better I dont wanna spend much and it wont be bought new but I think it needs a bit more poke for what she want it for.
Current Spec

Asus A7N8X-E Deluxe
Amd Athlon XP 2100+
1.5 GB corsair ram not sure of model was cheap on ebay
and a Maxter 120GB HDD

So any suggestion would be great.
 
brand new 7600gs for around 50 sheets would be ok i guess. but if you're prepared to go 2nd hand, you could pick up a more powerful x800xt/6800gt type card for around the same money or even less. :)
