Was up in Shrewsbury today getting some go faster bits fitted to my car so to pass the time I went for a wander and came across a bike shop (as you do)

While I was there I tried on a few lids, one of which was the AGV K3 Basic. Much to my surprise it fitted perfectly, a really good fit.

Does anyone have any advice about AGV helmets (particularly that model if possible). It seems really cheap to me (especially with the trade in discount) but it was such a good fit that I'm tempted.

I've got an AGV Stealth, fit is fantastic, really comfortable, But one thing I do see consistently when it comes to people talking about AGV helmets is that they're quite noisy lids, which is a shame.

I have an AGV S4 which is a lovely helmet, but I've started using my spare helemt (Shark RSX) just because it's a fair bit quieter and I hate wearing ear plugs.

I have a AGV Stealth SV, great value for money and 5 Star safety rating... only downside is it's the most nosy lid I've ever heard... and no matter how I adjust the visor it 'whistles' over 40mph.

The built in sun visor makes swapping visors a thing of the past

I have an S4, out of all the helmets i tried it was by far the best fitting, good safety rating and light, but like every one says they are rather noisy.
However id take comfort over noise any day, i'm used to wearing ear plugs for work.

Should be using earplugs anyway! :D. I say if its a good fit go for it, no point in having a posh lid thats uncomfortable...
:)
P.S. Where were you having what done in Shrewsbury?

Was at MiniMatts in Shifnal getting a reduced supercharger pulley, poly bushes and coilovers fitted.

Performance is definitely improved with the extra BHP, front end feels tighter with the bushes but I'm not entirely convinced about the coilovers as they're a bit stiff (my girlfriend complained that they make her boobs wobble)
