Running OSX Mavericks at work and yesterday found that Google have implemented a mini-player for Chrome. But you have to sign in and sync. So I did that, tried the mini-player and all was good. But got a bit paranoid about syncing all my 'personal stuff' to a work computer so decided to disconnect my account. As this was pre-coffee this morning I seem to have ticked the box to wipe all my bookmarks etc. I had tons of work/internal/intranet sites etc saved.. :(

Is there a backup stored anywhere that I can restore?

Edit: I have Googled, but I can't find the 'default' folder that many sites claim the bookmarks are stored in:

Macintosh HD > Users > Your user name > Library > Application Support > Google > Chrome > Default

It's hidden by default, try accessing it in the terminal, I don't have access to a Mac at the minute but I think the Library or Application Support folders are hidden so you'll need to put a . in front of it.
