AHCI in BIOS

Thats nForce630a chipset, don't think they have AHCI. You may have to use IDE but the performance will be less than AHCI.
Hope you can get the SSD working mate, because a lot of OCZ drives having trouble with older mobos(cold boot issue/BSOD/Dead drives)

Edit : note to self - refresh!

Also, can somebody tell me how to make sure Windows saves files to my hdd rather than ssd?
Yeah, I hope I can get the SSD working too. Will it show problems straight away if they are going to occur?

You can move the contents of the "Users" folder (Documents, Music, Pictures etc) by using the "Location" tab of the properties box, by right clicking on the folder. I have them in D drive any way.
Some SSD's show signs of errors right away, my Agility 3 60Gb had cold boot isses and it died after 2 days.

Better try the SSD in another PC, without connecting a HDD, a friends PC perhaps?
But if it works in another PC that means you will most likely have to change some parts

Edit : were you using windows 7 in the HDD as well?

Why don't you use this motherboard for your SSD, swap parts if you want to make a better PC using the CPU that you have in the other if that is better?
