Ok, i just put in a new Harddrive, plugged everything back in, turned computer on, and it went bang, and lots of smoke came out, so im guessing it was the PSU, am wondering if everything will be broken or will i be able to just buy a new PSU.

If it was a decent quality psu and you are sure it was the psu at fault you should be lucky enough to just need a new psu,
If it happened in my pc just after i had installed something though i would be worried that i had shorted something which would be far more serious
