Ai Booster?

i was wondering around on the asus cd i got with my p5b n found Ai booster within the Ai Suite, i decided to install n ended up clicking the overcloking utility, i clicked to overclock not sure whatwould fully do...suddenly it indicated my cpu clock at 1600mhz insted of the stock 2400, i tried reseting it to default n it blue screend (by this bit, pritty worried)

when booting up i went into bios, checked my RAM vlotages n they had been reset??? (im using Geil ultra low latency) so i set them to the volts recommended (2.1) n continued booting up, i dont have a lot installed, the usuall msn, css halo n stalker, gimp 2.2 n photoshop but this time it took a lot longer to boot in windows??

i finally got Ai booster to get the original clock, n attempted to run orthos, while running my pc crashed, no blue screen or anything...

i was reading the guide to overcloking and saw the "Overclocking can also kill your Windows install"

i uninstalled Ai Booster, i was on CSS for about an hour jumping around trying to stress the cpu and it was totall fine tbh it only happends wen running orthos???

could my XP install be bust??? omg what do i do!! help?!?!?! (new to this)

core 2 duo E6600
2gig of Geil
Asus p5b
n ATi Radeon X1600PRO

n im using a hiper type r,

so could my bsod just be nothing???

seems to be ok now...i formatted cus i needed too anyways n it seems to be runnning better, in ai booster i put it to defaults then unninstalled, but then formated anyways, its now showing my cpu at 2.4 at i cant member what idle lol (im in college)

the bios may have put my ram back to default cus i did a bios update (hadnt realised it reset em)
seems to be fine so far hasnt crashed or anything

lesson learnt lol
