afternoon all .. please can you help at all I'm looking into getting a Ai Box for my ford focus 2022 with built-in android autos and carplay my phone is a galaxy s24u .. so I'm using android autos i have had a look on the Internet .. but not being technically minded in this modern world unfortunately.. so relying on you guys, as usual to hopefully point me in the right directions... thanks
 
You're looking for a wireless Android Auto / Apple Carplay solution for your Focus that has built in AA/ ACP? If so, I can recommend the CarLinkit devices. We have a 4 in the CX5 and a 5 in the Mustang. Both work perfectly.
Or, are you looking for something that has full Android and works as a media player / media device stand-alone?
 
Thank you very much for replying. I will tell you a bit more about what I'm after. But like I said, I'm not technically minded. I'm after a Ai box that will plug into my car(USB) so i can watch apps IE: YouTube Netflix etc .. if it helps i don't have to use a usb cable to connect my phone to the headunit it does it automatically when i start my car and like I said, because I've got an android phone. I use android autos and not carplay, although I have carplay built-in to the car if I am making sense, I apologise if not

Your trying to watch YouTube on your car screen?

Isn't there a screen mirroring app that will do this? A guy at work does this to watch football, so I assume its possible?

rilot for what I'm reading on the Internet/websites is (android version 15) stops you from loading these sort of apps? .. maybe i should give up or buy a Ai box the trouble is there are that many Ai boxes. I don't know which one to buy??

You also need to tell your insurer about an AI box. Not doing so will invalidate your insurance. Which will suck when you rear-end someone because you were watching Brokeback Mountain for the 15th time.
